THE SKATE DECK
Project Overview
As part of urban planning & providing better connectivity within Singapore, transportation developments such as Flyovers, MRT Viaducts, Linkways, etc have created many pockets of unintentional spaces. Such spaces often go neglected especially when very little to no activities and human interactions take place. This Final Year Project serves to highlight the potentials of underutilized spaces, and also create safe, vibrant environments for people.
Design Intent
To attract youths back into the Skate Community within this select site.
To build a sense of belonging for youths in the skate community with proper training grounds and equipment.
To provide affordable & conducive studying environments for youths.
To cater to individual or large study groups for youths who want to study or catch up on work.
